お久しぶりの投稿になります。
2人目の出産も終え、久しぶりに教室に戻りました！
I gave birth to my second child and I’m back in class again!
今月から様々な国をピックアップして、その国の文化や習慣などを学んでいます。
前回のクラスでは、私も一度訪れたことのあるケニア🇰🇪について。
世界地図で国の位置を探すことだけでも楽しい子供達でした。
We started exploring various countries and it’s cultures from this month and the last lesson was about Kenya, which I’ve once visited before.
Children started off by looking for the country on their world maps. We also read some interesting facts about Kenya.
その後、サファリに行った時の写真を子どもたちに見せ、ケニアで見た野生動物について話しました。
特にボートに乗ってカバの近くまで行った時はとても怖かったです😬
I showed a few photos of some wild animals I saw when I went on a safari in Kenya.
I told everyone that I was actually quite scared seeing all those hippos from the boat...
最後はケニア発祥のボードゲームShisimaを作り、子どもたち同士で遊びました。
In the end we made a Kenyan boardgame called Shisima and everyone played against each other.
実際に行ったことのある国について子どもたちと一緒に学べるのは楽しいですね。
地図を確認したり映像を観ることもだけでも面白いのですが、こうしたアクティビティをひとつ加えることによって、更に楽しさが増しますよね。
It was really nice to be able to talk about a country which I’ve actually visited before.
Even if we learn a lot by just looking at videos and world maps, I felt that just by adding an extra activity like this will make it much more fun for the kids!
