Invent your own game!

We have been learning about different types of inventions and one part of the project was for the students to create their own board games!

We used 2 lessons for this to learn about the different types of games (strategy games, games of chance, family games and educational games) and what is needed in games to make them fun (challenges and tasks).

探究プロジェクトの授業では発明について学んでいます。その一環として、「自分たちのゲームを作る」というアクティビティに取り組みました。

2回のレッスンで様々なゲーム（戦略を考えるもの、運に任せるもの、家族で遊べるもの、教育に役立つものなど）の違いを学び、また、ゲームを面白くするために必要な要素を話し合いました。（チャレンジングやタスクが発生するなど）

Today we had a “Game Day” and invited all of the parents to play the games with their children.

そして今日は子どもたちの家族を招き、「ゲーム・デイ」を開催しました！

To end this project, children will create their own invention based on the problems they face in their daily lives. I am already excited to see what they will invent!

ゲームの後は、生活の中で不自由に感じていることを課題とし、これらを解決するための何かを発明することにチャレンジします。とても楽しみです！
